Hi dear readers, been so exhausted lately because of work... Even tired now but what the heck, I reckon writing a blog is like doing homework or weekly readings, once u start writing/reading, the ideas will just pour out. Haha... Yeah, I'm lazy!
Last two Sundays was a "coincident day" you know why? Because I met 3 people I know coincidentally in a few hours span. First person I met on my way to work was Chan Kit and we talked about watching Avatar one day when Yilyn is free. The second person I met? Jeng jeng jeng... Yilyn! My god, this is what we call fate. Haha. She came while I was working with her church friends to buy drinks and she didn't even know that it was my shift on that day. And the last random person I met is Candy's subtenant who also came to buy a drink from Easyway. For me it's a really weird thing to happen because none of it was planned and to have that happen 3 times in a day, that's even weirder!
Last Monday I went to the interview for the PASS Leader that I was talking about earlier. Yes, the lecturer finally contacted me after so long. Actually I thought I didn't get the position already because she took almost a month to get back to me. Hehe. I'm glad to say I passed the interview even without speaking more than 10 sentences. That's because the lecturer did most of the talking =.=". I'll be attending a training session on the coming Wednesday and Thursday.
Then on the Tuesday, I went to watch Avatar after sooooo long... Yes, I know I'm very outdated. You guys have probably watched it like a gazillion years ago... The 3D effect was gorgeous despite the fact that my 3D glasses kept on slipping of my face and I had to sit like a stone to avoid them from dropping down. Haha. However, the storyline is a bit weird and I don't really fancy the whole plot. Seems a bit random and ....
whats a nicer word for dumb? okay, I'll settle with dense. I don't know, I don't get the logic of using the hair to connect to another being and dancing like some weird tribe... Sigh, I know they'll be a lot of Avatar fans that wants to kill me right now. But yeah, they should portray the Navi people to be more advanced I think. That would be better. :D Well, that's my personal opinion anyway.
And yesterday I went out to farewell Chan Kit for the second time and also for an early "reunion dinner" with the others. We went to Kansai for a Japanese a la carte buffet. Food is not bad and staff is really friendly. However, the sashimi is not that fresh. Overall I think the value is quite good because $28 can only buy you so much in an expensive city like Sydney. By the time we got out of Kansai, I was bloated like a balloon. To mark the last 2 nights for Chan Kit to be in Sydney, the girls and I took many many pictures with him and also camwhored a lot. However, photos are in Yilyn's camera. So, can't be posted up here since I have not received them.
