Sigh... I have not been a good blogger lately. Been neglecting my blog so much! So I should update you guys on my activities for the last month or so...
Christmas eve 2009
Celebrated Christmas eve in Yin Kia and Seh Chun's house with the Malaysian Hall gang. We had loads of food to eat thanks to Wee's organic food platter. I'm not a fan of organic food so I can't comment much on that. Cos I think the food tastes horrid! Too healthy for my liking... LOL! It was a pot-luck party so each of us had to contribute something and I made cupcakes for the first time in my life!
The night was filled with food, piano performances by Theresa, Wee's Christmas song addiction on TV, catching up and also dance dance mania! We tried to outsmart the game by assigning one person to each arrow - yet, we still lost to the CPU... Hahaha!
Besides that, we also had our own Chris Cringle -and I received a cup from Chan Kit! It's from Country Road, so don't play-play ah...
My cupcakes - the cakes are good but I failed on the icing :-(
Yin Kia and Seh Chun's Christmas tree
First time opening a Christmas Cracker - Seh Chun lost 4 times in a row!
Behold - My Christmas spirit!

Gathering at Connie's place
After not catching up for such a long time, Connie decided to organise a small get together with everyone from Barker unit 3. Another pot luck and this time I made tang yuan, a Chinese dessert to celebrate the winter solstice. Sigh, it tasted like crap because the insides were hard - I left them in the fridge for one day... Maybe I should have cooked them longer or something. Cos from my memory, my grandma use to put them in the fridge too but they tasted soooo delicious! Where did I go wrong? Hmm....
We did do a lot of catching up and gossiping! It was really good to have a girl's night where you can talk about girlish stuff and nose around freely.
All four of us at the dinner table
Connie, Pom and Me
Connie's patties, Alison's muffins, Connie's Pasta and Pom's honey soy chicken.
We actually had dessert before we ate dinner so my tang yuan is not here!
New Year's Day 2009
As everyone knows, Sydney has the best fireworks show for NYE celebrations... And obviously, one would think that I will go to Circular Quay on that particular day. And of course I did.... NOT! Haha, I hate crowded places and I had work the next day... So I did not want to risk getting a bad headache. Instead I stayed home and watch the fireworks display on TV and it was awesome!

Summer Course - Business Taxation
Time to update on boring stuff - my summer course.
Overall, it's a fun course and it's coming to an end next Wednesday! Time flies when you're studying I guess. I still feel so new to the whole course and yet it's finishing already. I'll have to prepare for finals really soon and I'm dreading it even though it's an open book exam.
I just handed in my assignment today! I hope I did well!
Learning tax has been a really fun experience. I really like it. Well, I don't like having assessments on it but I like the concepts and cases introduced in the course. Really really interesting!
Work
I've finally decided to quit my job and I've already told my boss that I will stop once the new semester starts. It's been a nice experience working at a tea-house. I got to be my own manager, supervisor and worker. LOL... But I still had a boss above me... Business has been too good this past few days and I'm so worn out after work, so I think it would be best that I quit after working there for a year already... Need some time off and I want to start concentrating on my honours courses. :)
Okies... Enough of blabbing... in summary, I'm doing fine and in good shape! Hope you guys enjoyed my update!
