Who was here?

Bondi Junction
Written at Tuesday, September 8, 2009 | back to top

Time for shopping again! The very next day after going to the Botanical Gardens, we went to Bondi Junction's Westfield. It wouldn't be the first time we stepped foot in the shopping center because we've been there earlier to watch Transformers at Greater Union (or currently known as Event Cinemas).

This time it was purely for windowshopping and also for an Aussie food tasting adventure. Westfield at Bondi would be equivalent to MidValley back in Malaysia. It's big, but I'm sure there are bigger Westfields around Sydney, I heard the biggest one is at Parramatta.

Nothing really interesting happened that day though. Just a normal date - like any ordinary couple (we rarely have these in Sydney because Kuan Lung and I are too busy doing touristy stuff). Stopped by a few shops here and there, tried on a few clothes but ended up not buying anything. Also had a lot of food and drinks such as a lamington cake, a watermelon Bacardi Breezer, a croissant (which Kuan Lung claims to be the best he ever had), a mango boost juice and rice pudding. Told you we love food!

I'll end this very short post here with a few pictures for you guys to ogle on.

Trying on his definition of "cool" shoes at some random shoe shop

Trying the all famous traditional Aussie snack - lamingtons
It's a really sweet cake coated with desiccated coconut, quite nice if you ask me

My turn to camwhore with the lamington

Together now

Rice pudding - not my favourite but it's his
He looks famished here.. maybe I starved him on the holidays. Hahaha

You know, as the saying goes: should always love your self
