...Continuing from the last post...
Just a few steps away from the Museum was a very elegant looking church which although I've been here for roughly 1.5 years already, never new existed called Saint Mary Cathedral.
Took a short walk and we're there, passing a water feature and also some sort of a fitness centre (which was actually underground). On the way, we did what every tourist will do, yet again - camwhore!!!
Water feature in full blast (they shut it off a few moments later)
The moon decided to show its face early (it was roughly 4.30 p.m.)
It was having "insomnia" as for most of winter,
it comes out by 2 p.m. in the afternoon

If you're wondering what's the purpose of the two uplifted platforms,
that's the underground fitness centre.
The Church is not spared from my jumping ordeal
The church was breathtakingly big and beautifully decorated to have a medieval feel to it. Painted windows and big stone walls - necessities of every church structure were the main contributor to the ambiance of the building. However, I found this church really grand as it had a big organ, music kind, not the anatomy kind, which pipes were high up to the ceiling so it could fill the entire structure with beautiful music. An old man was at the keys playing a music score but I have no clue what tune was it.

After the serene walk in the Church, we went off to Hyde park for photo shooting number 2 - night scene.

Phew.... you would think that we were already dead tired... We did head home right after for a quick dinner and to freshen up. Then, we went out again to Star City to try our luck at the pokies (cos we did not dare to join the high rollers at the tables).
As most of the people living in Sydney would know, a blue membership card, which is FOC, would allow you $10 worth of credits to play at the pokie machines. However, I had trouble operating the card and the machine as I have no idea what we are supposed to do to activate the card and use our credits stored inside. So I had to call for assistance 3 times to understand the way the machine operates.... *embarrassed*
I was having a bad day and consequently - NO BEGINNER'S LUCK AT ALL. So sad, and my hand keep on getting static shocks which hurt like hell... So much negativity inside of me I guess. Mr Lucky on the other hand, won big time - roughly $40 inclusive of his $10 "capital" which he cashed out. A particular "choi sun" machine really loves him, didn't even need to do anything and the money just pours into his hand like drop from the sky....
Midas hand - blessed by the fountain??
I was wondering, If I had used my head instead of my fingers
to press the button, then would I win big too??
After his lucky strike and 6 free cups of drinks... We caught the 11.15 p.m bus back to Circular Quay and proceed back home. Finally, after the long day out, we could call it a day.
