I am ME
I'm just a simple girl trying to explore the world and jotting down my experiences in this blog

Time for me to update again although work is piling up. I need a well deserved break from typing up my 2000 word legal assignment which is due on Monday so I resort to more typing! However, blogging is much easier compared to looking at relevant laws and applying it although both activities actually uses the same physical muscles. :P
Ok, back to my holiday post. This time it's gonna be about the Coogee. Yes the beach again! But this time it's different because the plan was to go there before the sky turns bright and wait for the sun to rise out from the sea while eating breakfast on the cliff's edge. Sounds like a perfect romantic morning right? Hehe... But it's not exactly perfect because...
I checked the time that the sun would rise on the internet just right before going to bed and planned to set out at 6.20 am to catch the 6.30 am bus to Coogee as they predicted the sun will rise at 7.15 am the next day.
So at 6.15 am sharp we set out to the bus stop at Doncaster Avenue but the sky was already starting to brighten up... And by the time we caught the bus, the sky was already a dark shade of blue and not pitch black.. So that worried me a little...
When we reached the beach, the sky made our already shattered hopes become to ashes because it was cloudy!!! Sigh... so much for a perfect day...
But instead of turning back to the bus and going back to the cozy bed, we still decided to climb up to the cliff overlooking the sea and the horizon. It was a good idea because the sun actually rose from the clouds! Haha, bectha never seen anything like that in your life before! :P
Before the sun rises
During the magical moment
Yeah.... It doesn't compare to the real thing but what the heck
So we sat there and waited for the sun to peek out from the little hole in the cloud and cast its orange-red rays. A really breathtaking and beautiful sight. All this while enjoying a ham sandwich by the seaside... Just imagine! Romantic leh... hehehe...
Breakfast : Ham, tomato, cucumber and
sourdough bread (which was really stone hard)
Trying to devour the bread... Must... use... extensive... jaw.... muscle!
*chomp chomp chomp*
Looking cool but got extra prop there. Can you spot the sunnies?
With sun light
Without sun light
After the spectacular sun rise and also after camwhoring for a bit, we decided to have a little walk about the newly "resurfaced" beach. Did you know, they resurface the beach every morning to get rid of all the footprints on the sand?? Haha, it really intrigued me.
Tyres of the "resurfacer"
Man and Machine
Too bored with nothing to do... hahaha
And camwhoring at the beach is never complete without............................. A jumping shoot!
