After multiple request from dearest Mr Wong, I'm finally able to blog about out outing at Pavilion last December. I know, I know I took so long... But better late then never right?
Anyway, I had problems with my computer
bluetooth connection and that gave me a minor setback. I actually planned to blog about it this morning.
Haha, as if that would make a difference!
Okay, moving on to the real purpose of the blog.
We started our outing at around 10.30 a.m. Got on the Monorail at Chow Kit station. Bought an insanely expensive ticket to
Raja Chulan Station (RM 1.60 for that kind of distance...? Not really worth in my opinion :-P)
Picture courtesy of wikipediaThe reason why we actually went to Pavilion was to catch a movie. It has been so long since a went to the cinema with him. So I desperately needed to watch something with him before we both went back to our respective Universities. Well, you know the ambiance of the cinema, not-so-comfortable chairs, dark, big screen with surround sound. I don't know why, but something about going to the movies makes me feel happy and excited for no particular reason. They must have placed some opium smelling air freshener in the cinema that stimulates my brain to need more... Well, I'm just crapping for the sake of making this blog a bit livelier. Sorry if my jokes are too cold. :-(
The movie we watched was Twilight. Just in case my dear readers don't really know what is Twilight and what's it all about... It's about a girl who falls in love with a vampire. That sums up most of the story. :-D You know the drill: Girl meets vampire, girl despises vampire, later falls in love with vampire, then there's more conflict with other vampires about their kind dating a mortal, etc etc, fighting and of course there's a continuation. The story was quite okay... But I wont be going back for part 2 cos it seems a bit boring from the wiki page.
We had an hour to kill before the movie. So we started hunting for food. It's our favourite (or maybe his favourite? okay okay, our favourite... gosh I'm putting on more and more
kgs as the days go by) past time. We tried something new that day called pizza in a cone? I forgot the name, but it literally is a pizza folded to be coned shaped. (update: The name of the shop is Kono Pizza - which means cone pizza in Japanese I guess. Thanks for reminding me!) Overall, the taste was good as the crust was crispy (
albeit quite thick) and the topping is tasty. However, the size and the price just doesn't match in a good way. Overly expensive for such a small portion of food. But we should change our diet once in a while and sample new stuff in the market.
Then, we saw it... Well, he saw it... the
bao shop that always appear in the e-mail. "Mr
Baoz" from Taiwan. The
baos look very pretty. Doesn't even look like a
bao anymore. You guys can check it out
here to understand what is the meaning of "
bao but not
bao"
haha.
We ordered 2
baos actually. One is the onion
bao and another on
e is called Viennese Cheese. I prefer the former over the latter. Simply cos it's much tastier than the Viennese one. The
baos, like every other Taiwanese food, looks better than it tastes. It's so pretty that you feel you don't have the heart to eat it (and I think, it's quite worth it if you preserve it and just show it to your friends in the display case than to eat it.
Haha, just kidding... again another cold joke) but the taste is just what we say "
ok ok la". The skin is too thick but soft, and the filling is just too little and bland. The price is quite okay for the one time experience of eating a pretty
bao. RM 3.50 per
bao. Quite pricey eh?

Pictures of the baoz. The one with the black streaks is the Viennese oneAfter the movie... We just
jalan jalan at Pavilion to kill time. Then we suddenly saw so many people
looking downstairs (we were on the 1st floor). Actually they were all just looking at pretty angels. Mostly were guys looking downstairs. Maybe if the people downstairs were not careful, they could feel something wet dripping on to their head due to the amount of saliva from upstairs. Just kidding!
So I also very pat
kua, go downstairs to have a better look at the
leng luis. You know, I like to look at pretty girls too. They are like dolls to me. Nice to look at but of course, I can't own them la! Well, I like the girl in blue. For me she's the prettiest among all. The purple gown girl (the one I
cam whored with) comes second to her. However, my bf prefers the purple one over the blue one.
Haha, he says her eyes look very cunning. Of course, I look the best among all of them to him la. Correct or not
leh? (If not correct.... *evil laugh*)

After taking pics with all the pretty angels, we went back home... That's it for our fun day at Pavilion. The shops are too expensive to even window shop! So, of course I restrained myself from shopping. This is to save me the heartache of liking something but not having enough money to afford it. Well, the day will come when I can buy everything in Pavilion! Mark my words!!! Well, again, I'm just kidding. I'm not materialistic okay??! You guys should know me well enough
mah!
Ok ok, I'm gonna stop my
nonsense now. Hope u enjoyed my post and you're not freezing under the blanket right now due to my so-
UN-funny jokes. :-P sorry if you catch a cold.
