First week of second semester
Written at Wednesday, July 30, 2008 | back to top

Argh! It's already the first week of Uni again... And it's only the first week but I'm already tired and lazy. Hopefully the study mood will kick in soon. Even my hands can no longer write nicely as they tend to hurt when i write "a lot" (which is around 2 pages, so little only).

I was fortunate enough to have 3 days/week uni starting every Tuesday and ending every Thursday. Unlike some other people who are very cham, have 5 days/week uni... I really pity them. And some more I complain. I'm so bad right?

Okok, I have already went to all my lectures so I can blog a bit a bout my classes this week (although I still have to attend some lectures and tutes and a lab tomorrow). This semester, I'll be doing 3 compulsory subjects which are Accounting and Financial Management, Quantitative Methods B and Macroeconomics. I'll also be studying Information System (IS) as an elective. I think my favorite subject currently is IS cos there's no final exams for this subject!!! I'm so happy I could float.

All the lecturers seem ok and the subjects are boring as usual... But I think the accounting lecturer has a good way of teaching, she adapts my "style" of learning and I feel quite interested in what she says although I already know it (since she was repeating last semester things, I'm not chuen-ing ok). QMB lecturer is okok la, cos the way he talk a bit monotone but I think he's quite knowledgeable in the subject. Macro lecturer also quite funnily and interesting. I cannot comment too much about my lecturers, later they sue me for breaching their rights or something. Or maybe they give me low marks.. So, I'm not saying out any names or any details.. hahaha. Don't bring me to court ok? And please give me the marks I deserve, or maybe better marks? hahahaha.

Met some new people in my tutorials today cos I didn't enrol in the same tutes as my friends. Weird right? Most people enrol with their friends and stick to the same bunch of people throughout their uni life, but I don't. hmmm.. and my friends don't too. Maybe all of us are the weird kind. So most of my new friends are Chinese from China. Trying to make friends with people from other countries too, but maybe I'm too shy or something? Don't have the luck to meet other people from other parts of the country yet. haha.

That's about it for my week, kinda boring I know... Ok, I'm signing off!
